Wilemon scoffs at JohnsonWilemon scoffs at JohnsonTupelo's own AFA chief Rev Wilemon scoffs at R.G.Johnson's criticism of Pat Robertson. Pat Robertson's masterfull use of innuendo to blame the Haitian catastrophe on the Haitian people's deal with the devil 200 years ago was flawless. He made it very clear for the Soddom and Gomora crowd that the earthquake was, indeed, retribution for the sins of their fathers. But he was so elusive in his wording that Mr Wilemon can deny any such accusation to the more intellectual readers of the Daily Urinal. Of course, there's a wink and nod to his fundamentalist supporters. They know the AFA is a hard line hell fire and brimstone church of the sanctified whose lips have never touched demon's brew. Ms Johnson and Mr Wilemon must duke it out and see which gets the last word on this.

Re: Wilemon scoffs at Johnson There are plenty of Bible believing Christians that do not believe what Pat Robertson said. Many believe he was way out of line for his statements.

Re: Wilemon scoffs at JohnsonI wonder where the "far out fundamentalists" find so much support, r-r. Pat Robertson seems to have an impressive organization behind him. He is carefull in his extremist statements, though, making certain there is deniability in the vagueness, and so, he can have it both ways, so to speak. And he has the AFA to rush to his aid on the side of enlightened intellectuals. I wonder how fundamental the elder Wilemon would be on this topic? And I'll bet that rigtht this minute there are several "Hell-Fire and Brimstone" fundamentalist preachers quoting that same Pat Robertson epistle as an unequivocal statement that the earth quake was a modern day Soddom.
